You can migrate your business phone numbers from other solution providers to Chat ON Desk.
Use the WhatsApp Manager to disable two-step verification on your business phone number (or to ask your current Solution Provider to disable it for you).
You cannot complete the remaining steps until two-step verification is disabled.
Begin the whatsapp onboarding via Chat ON Desk dashboard and enter your business phone number and its display name when prompted for them in the flow. When you complete the flow, the system will generate your new WABA and associate it with your Meta Business Account.
In addition to keeping the registered phone number, business owners can retain the:
* Display Name
* Quality Rating
* Official Business Account Status
* Messaging Limits
Template Messages that have been approved previously (only the high quality template messages are migrated as per the process. These can be used immediately and do not have to undergo a review process again with WhatsApp).
Low quality, rejected, pending templates and chat history is not migrated from Source BSP to Destination BSP as part of this process.
Messages sent before migration is complete are charged to the old Solution Partner. Undelivered messages sent before migration is complete will be charged to the old Solution Partner if they are delivered after migration is complete.
Messages sent after migration is complete are charged to the new Solution Partner.
Downtime doesn’t begin until you perform the final step (registration). Until then, the business phone number can be used to send and receive messages without interruption.
Once you perform the final registration step, downtime begins and lasts until meta completes template duplication.
Once completed, the business phone number can once again be used to send and receive messages, which will be associated with your new WABA.
